A mask encrusted with droplets turns the face into a surface of condensation, something formed and erased at once. The hollow gaze feels distant, almost mechanical, while the softness of the hair suggests something still alive beneath. Emerging from the artist’s real drawings, this work holds a tension between surface and absence.
